
Materials
For the sandwich
2 beef fillets (100 g each)
2 slices of wholemeal bread
1 clove garlic, melted
20 gr. fresh arugula leaves
salt and grated black pepper
For coleslaw
chopped white and red cabbage
2 tbsp. sea salt
30 gr. mayonnaise
juice of half a lemon
chopped parsley
For the tomato relish
1 tomato, finely chopped
1 tbsp. olive oil
1/2 onion, finely chopped
1 sc. garlic, finely chopped
1 kg chopped ginger
30 ml white vinegar
1 kg Brown sugar
1 kg Fresh lemon juice
1/2 tbsp. salt
1/2 chili pepper, finely chopped
Implementation
For the tomato relish:
Mix all the ingredients (except the salt) in a small bowl.
Add the salt and mix lightly.
For coleslaw:
Put all the vegetables in a bowl.
Add the olive oil, vinegar, sugar, lemon juice, salt and finally the mayonnaise.
Stir by hand for about 45 ”, pressing lightly.
For the sandwich:
You compose the sandwich, first placing the mayonnaise and coleslaw on the lower slice.
Place the fillets (ideal roasting the medium rare), a little of the tomato relish and then the arugula.
Add extra mayonnaise to the top slice.
